Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club - 200 Club
You may have forgotten of its existence, or never heard of it, but the 200 Club is still here and it is making some money for the club. However, it is not making as much as we would like as not many players are currently partaking. Indeed, of the 89 numbers now in play, many are from non-current members of the club.
The principal is that half the money collected goes into a prize fund and the other half goes to the hockey club. Subscription to the club is by standing order, one number is either £10 per year or £1 per month. You are very welcome to have more than 1 number.
There will be 3 draws each year, one at the start of the season, one around Christmas and one at the end of the season. In each draw there will be prizes as follows:
1st Prize £100
2nd Prize £50
2 Runners Up Prizes of £10, basically get your money back for the year.
This is a small investment individually that makes a good return for the club, so I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A GOOD TAKE UP FROM PLAYERS OF ALL TEAMS.
