The Ladies 1s journeyed to Bishops Stortford this week. Despite successive losses in this league so far, the newly promoted team remain confident and upbeat about our capabilities going into this fixture, and that showed from the off.

A warm albeit overcast afternoon starting with poor Babs delayed with having a blowout, leaving the ladies 2s to start the match with a bare 11.

A game which we already knew would be difficult being against St Albans, turned out to be an exciting one.

Berkhamsted Ladies 3’s got off to a flying start against Saffron Walden on Saturday by scoring 2 goals in the first 15 minutes. Both came from short corners.

Well done girls, another tough and exciting match. The first half we played extremely well, coming so close to scoring lots of times, but Shefford and sandy's defence was strong and they always managed to clear the ball.
