The Ladies 2s game fell on the Halloween weekend and it felt as if the ghosts of those who had gone before us were lingering, watching what would turn out to be a darned good game of stick n ball – sorry, hockey.

With temperatures feeling considerably more crisp than previous weeks, and despite a few near misses on the commute to Hertford’s home ground, BHHHC ladies 1st XI were in for a proper game of winters hockey against a youthful Hertford 1s.

We travelled again, this week to Shefford and Sandy, hoping for our third win on the bounce...

Ladies 4s were playing St Albans at Oaklands College on an extremely cold afternoon; although we lost 4-0 the score line was not reflective of the game, with everyone playing well as a team with some excellent passing and running.

The Ladies 3 were at home at Tring, the weather was glorious and we were very keen to keep up the winning run.
