Off we trail to the Royal Masonic school for girls with an energetic mixture of youth and experience. For the first time this year we are blessed with two subs, an exciting prospect, if we could get the combinations right. The fluidity of the club’s availability once again exposed as we go into our third game with six different players from last week.

Thank goodness for Mark Johnson's feet. With them, there was a feint whiff. But without them, we would have suffered further humiliation against a Cheshunt side that we should have beaten.

We had a lovely day trip, although slightly out the comfort zone as it was well within the M25

For the second week running Berkhamsted 5ths faced a recently relegated team in Southgate Adelaide 2nds who turned out to be a useful team.

After another hectic  transfer week, due to players providing umpiring cover for other teams , we settled with a team of 13 on Friday night with high hopes of the extra players allowing for a much needed rest for the older generation.
