Berkhamsted 1st XI 6 Royston 2 The last competitive match of the season for Berkhamsted 1st pitched them against the top of the table and champions Royston (unbeaten for the season). A tough last fixture however with Berkhamsted cruising towards the end of the season with 5 wins out of their last 6, there was much optimism within the team. Berkhamsted started well putting Royston under some early pressure without really troubling their goal. |

Berkhamsted completed their league season with a visit to Stevenage. The match start was delayed and this enabled Berkhamsted to practise short corners and this seemed to have an immediate effect as Berkhamsted won their first short corner in the second minute and Jon Peplow scored. |
