Berkhamsted 4th XI got the second half of the season started with a visit to Stevenage 6th XI. Berkhamsted were inspired by the sight of their Ladies team winning comprehensively and got off to a good start but failed to take their early chances. 

Brian de Mattos broke the deadlock by diverting a wayward shot from Alex Winwright into the corner of the net and shortly afterwards Richard Peachey followed up a de Mattos shot to score the second. Stevenage came back though and caught Berkhamsted on the break and at half time Berkhamsted only led by one. Berkhamsted stepped up the pressure in the second half and Brian de Mattos scored again from Willie Love’s pass and then de Mattos set up Tim Buckley for the 4th. After this Stevenage offered little threat and powerful strikes by Buckley and Peachey extended the lead before Buckley completed his hat-trick from a short corner.
