Berkhamsted 3rd XI found the icy conditions not to their liking as they ended their 3 match winning run against Rickmansworth. In an even opening period Rickmansworth took the lead after a deflection had left the defence stranded.

Berkhamsted hit back and created a number of chances but were unable to make them count. Simon Barron was causing problems for Rickmansworth down the right wing, but the forwards were unable to convert his crosses. Berkhamsted mounted a strong attack in the second half but after just failing to convert a chance, Rickmansworth broke away and although Terry Wintle saved the first effort he was unable to prevent the rebound from being pushed into the goal. After that Berkhamsted seemed to fade and were grateful to Terry Wintle that their was only one more goal. Another good performance from young Oliver Rodgers was the best part of the Berkhamsted side of the match.
