Our first game back following the bad weather proved a rather uphill struggle! We had a good side on paper and Jules kindly agreed to go in goal due to several absences.
St.Albans Exiles soon began their crusade and knocked in a hat-full of goals,10 to be precise! We did manage to scrabble one back, converted by Payton , but it certainly was not enough. It was one of those games where our chances were not converted and there were frustrations abound. It hopefully has ignited a bit of a spark though, and we look forward to the remaining games of the season. |
