Berkhamsted drove through driving rain to Dagenham to honour this friendly fixture. Berkhamsted were helped by the oppostion lending them a first team palyyr to make up their side and promptly took a two goal lead.
However, Plaskow's superior passing especially in their midfield, gradually took its toll on tiring Berhamsted legs and by half-time they were in the lead 4-2. Berkhamsted never gave up - pulling the game back to 5-4 before Plaskow sealed it in the last five minutes. Special mention to Berkhamsted's debut goalkeeper Ben Rogers who acquitted himself extremely well. |
