Berko take all points in soaking nail bitter!
After a very attacking start with some great play by Jack and Tupper on the left, and a couple of wayward shots. Berko managed to get a short corner. . . .
With a slick pass from Simon, a pin point stop from Rocky Savage, Pete stepped up and put his drag flick like a rocket into the top left corner.
Soon after with some excellent play from Roger who slotted an inch perfect though ball for Tupper to collect and slide pass the keeper for Berko’s 2nd.
However in the last 10 minutes of the half, Berko went to sleep gifting the home team an easy goal just before the break.
After an inspiring half time talk from the Baron and Simon (foul them) Leathem. Berko went out and started well but the home side made a break and scored.
With the score tied we had to push for the winner, with a few chances here and there Berko eventually got a short corner, and James Baron hit a strong shot onto the pads only for the rebound to come back to him and slide it into the corner for the winner! |
