Another unfortunate result for Berkhamsted losing 4-2 this week as they took on Stevenage 1sts. Berko were looking to bounce back after last weeks defeat, but crumbled in the first 20 minutes letting 3 goals in.
Following this Berko showed real character and forced themselves back into the game with a superb reverse stick flick goal by man of the match Swampy.
Berko started the second half with the same verocity and applied good pressure. This resulted in a second goal which was slotted home by Pete Allam after a scoring run by Peplow. Frustration started to show as Pete Allam got himself sent off for a very rash challenge which left Stevenage to take advantage of the extra man and gain a very dubious 4th goal. The game ended on a further sour note with Jack Peplow getting himself sent off. Hopefully they can get themselves out of this losing streak against Broxbourne next week.
