65 turned out for the second BHHHC curry night. Students from World Challenge provided the food and the club provided the bar. A raffle raised £100 for club funds. Thanks to all of you that attended.   |

Curry Night 4 December 2009 |

Around 35 club members enjoyed a delicious curry on Friday 4th December cooked by world challenge students. Indian music, candles, and hot towels made for a great evening at just £10 per head. The world challenge students raised funds and the club bar received a good hammering so all were winners. See you at the next one.

Members who remember Chris Battcock and his five sons Humphrey, Tim, Ben, Mike & David all of whom have appeared for the club will be interested to know that Hump's son Ben was captain of Oxford's Hockey team who were recently victorious in the 2009 Varsity match held at Southgate HC. |

At Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club's AGM on Saturday 20th September 2008, Ian Hall announced his decision to stand down as Chairman. Ian has been a highly admired chairman for the last 15 years working exceptionally hard to manage the club through some difficult periods. |

First warm up of the year - 06/09/2008 |

The continuation of the inclement British summer wasn't enough to faze
the 18 hardy souls that turned up to kick off the 2008-2009 Berko hockey
season. Club members representing each team in the Club, both Mens and
ladies, braved the driving rain to take part in the first organised
warm-up game at Tring astro on Saturday. |
