Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club NewsBedford 7 a side Tournament 13/11/11
Several youth teams from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club performed at the Bedford Mini 7-a-side hockey tournament on Sunday 13th November 2011.
With some good all round performances, the Berko U14 team progressed all the way to the final. En route they beat, Berko 1, Bedford 2, Shefford and drew with St Neots. They were second in the table and had to play St Neots in the semi-finals which they went on to win 2-1. They met Luton in the final and unfortunately lost 3-0. James Layton was voted man of the series girl power went to Anna Macklin. Team: Finnley Payton, Ben Mackey, James Layton, Matt Buckley, Sophie Beard, Claudia Jones and Anna Macklin. Good tournament, nice weather and an almost result. |
