On Sunday 29th January, eight girls from the BHHHC hockey academy: Sophie Beard, Maddie Bentley, Sarah Harris, Claudia Jones, Ruby Lloyd, Eli MacDonald, Keelin McKenna and Melissa Morton represented Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead Hockey Club to play in the regional friendly U14 girls tournament at Buckingham. |

Berkhamsted Ladies first team won 3-0 today against St Albans in convincing style. Molly Beard was inspirational in the first half with two impeccably timed passes setting up goals for Claire Barrett Mould and Abi Lawlor. |

The Ladies seconds had another victory this week with a 4-0 win against Bedford. However, despite the result, it was a hard fought game against an experienced and strong Bedford defence. In the first half, the play was very open and even on both sides and our defence of Angie, Jo and Liz were having to keep a close marking game on the high positioned Bedford forwards who were ready and looking for a quick break. |

The ladies first 11 won 4-0 today in style against BlueHarts. The first half was very close but after a neat passing move between Andre Bettridge and Abi Lawlor the home team were awarded a penalty corner. Claire BM took a direct hit and the ball flew into the back of the net. |
