We are bursting with pride this week as we celebrate two of our brilliant young goalkeepers, who have both earned places in the England Hockey Talent Academy, a huge achievement and a fantastic recognition of their talent and dedication.
- Miles Poulton (16) has had a whirlwind season, recently making the exciting move to play Premier League Division 1 hockey with ACHC. Yet, despite this big step up, he remains a regular at BHHHC training sessions, inspiring our younger keepers and generously passing on his skills. His passion for the game and commitment to the club are second to none and he’s already proving himself a true role model.
- Hettie French (13), cool as a cucumber between the posts, has also been making waves. After stepping confidently into the Ladies’ section, she is quickly climbing the teams and showing maturity and composure well beyond her years. Watching her develop has been a joy, and her place in the Talent Academy is richly deserved.
Both of these players embody what makes BHHHC so special: hard work, teamwork, ambition, and giving back to the club community.
We could not be prouder of Miles and Hettie and can’t wait to see where their hockey journeys take them next.
