The BHHHC Padel Working Group has had a major breakthrough. Subject to successful conclusion of commercial agreements (which is expected), a local benefactor has offered an interest free loan to finance planning and construction of up to 3 Padel Courts on the disused tennis court area at BHHHC.

Key Padel development points:-

• Padel Court hire rate will be kept very competitive to make Padel accessible and affordable to BHHHC Members and the local Dacorum community,
• This Padel development fits very well with our club ethos of promoting inclusiveness and access to a diverse range of sports and activities for the benefit of BHHHC Members and the local community (supporting health, mental health, community and friendship),
• Makes use of our disused tennis court area so has no impact on BHHHC’s existing or planned land usage,
• Will not impact car parking. We are already planning for expansion of our weather-proof car parking to support existing activities and
• Is financially risk-free for BHHHC and may even become a valuable source of additional financial income to help BHHHC maintain and develop its facilities and diversity of sports and other activities into the future.

The BHHHC Exec believes this is an outstandingly exciting opportunity for BHHHC Ltd and its Members so supports the Padel Working Group concluding commercial agreements and proceeding with applying for planning permission and, if successful, construction of our new BHHHC Padel facility.
