The Sun shone on the Berko Boys Astro as we hosted St Albans U8s 4 aside mini-tournament. 18 of our U8s participated in mixed age/ability teams. Teams worked together showing some strong defensive play seeing many clearances out of our D. But equally our attacks on the opponents D brought plenty of goals! Our youth did remarkably well considering we had a whole range of ages from 5yrs to 8yrs, and worked tirelessly never giving up, showing true Berko spirit. If you ever need to recharge your battery, the U8s energy is infectious and certainly did that for us, parents, coaches alike. We couldn’t be prouder of our kids showing great sportsmanship, grit and determination, not forgetting their developing skills too! Well done to all U8s the future is looking very bright!
