After a "Toot Toot!" of a team-building session in the car park (footage pending…), the Berko 1s were fired up and quite literally on their toes!

The first half saw us thoroughly exploring every corner of Bedford’s pitch — especially their D. While we may not have made it onto the scoreboard early, we definitely made our presence known.

At halftime, we were treated to a classic “Linus from Snoopy”-style pep talk from El Capitán, freshly returned from her world tour. That was swiftly followed by some actual tactical insight from Sian — proving she can talk some real sense when she wants to!

The second half is where things got spicy. Training clearly paid off:

Rosie pulled off a beautiful reverse flick to find the back of the net.

Screwloose Sarah had a true Bob the Builder moment, digging the ball out under pressure like a pro.

DOD went to yours truly — for the minor offence of dribbling… in the clubhouse.

POM was well earned by Moody Mel, who showed off her speed and connected brilliantly with her teammates throughout.
