The ladies 2s started their hockey season on a day that more suited ice cream than hockey.

Raspberry Ripple Rosie set the team up from the start with high hopes. Solero Sophie headed out from the back in search of the ice cream van but the first person to get to the serving hatch was Ella “The
Lollipop ” Langdon. This was followed by a P Flick superbly scored by Anneke “Gelato” Gainer. So the Lollipop and Gelato had their cones but this wasn’t enough for the Lollipop who scored a second fantastic goal to earn her sprinkles. Gelato not to be outdone got the full “99” moment - 4-0! What a “scoop” for Berko!

Emma “Popsicle” Potts and Neopolitan Nic held firm at the back and Ellie “Mint Choc” Cella ran her socks off. Birthday girl “Ben & Jerrys” Bowman claimed a double cone assist.

Princess of the Pitch went to Ellie “The Magnum” Murphy.
