We travelled all the way to St Albans, simply to play 4 matches of pure hockey.

All teams played well and the standard was high.

We were missing some key players and so had to play some boys out of position. This meant that, although we started off with insufficient organisation, our game improved steadily throughout the tournament.

We lost three matches but tried our hardest and played well. We drew the last match and probably should’ve won this one and the previous one. They were close games and we were probably the better side for the majority of the game.

Well done to all the boys involved, who gave their best.
