2 of our 3 Berko U10 Boys teams were made-up with U10 Tring youth players proving that hockey can win the day. Their seamless play saw the boys link-up seeing the C team win their first game against Harpenden 4:0 and draw their second game against Blueharts 1:1, and with goals from Owen, Sam and Jacob. Raph claimed his position on the right half who ably assisted Owen with a tap into the goal. Monty took command at the back using his strength on the ball to clear it out of the D charging up the pitch. The team ended the tournament with tough game against Broxbourne but held strong for a draw. 3 Exciting games for the C team.

Team B1, started strong against Letchworth holding them off to a draw. The next 2 games were against 2 separate St. Albans teams the first of which was a win to us. Elliot playing as centre-mid calmly distributing the ball up the pitch and tracking back to defend. Was ably supported by Ethan at the back whose strength in tackles was key to keeping the ball out of the goal. Our second game against St. Albans was end-to-end Tate on the right was quick to react and press forward. Unfortunately, the goals just did not come and St. Albans were luckier team on the day.

Team B2, were commended for their exciting hockey and linked-up play, strength in retaining possession for the majority of the games, and utilised the strengths of every player on the team. The one area to work on is their finishing but this will come with more game play. Teddy, Tom B, Rory, Albert and Jacob.
