"The Anxiety Spiralled. Hockey Gave Me A Purpose" | This Girl Can

In the summer of 2021, Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead HC participated in the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign. They spoke to women across the club who prove that #ThisGirlCan no matter what. Louise suffers from anxiety and, like many, struggled during the pandemic. For her, hockey came at a time when she was starting to feel a little bit more in control and gave her a sense of purpose that helped her in other aspects of her life. #EnglandHockey
